Mariana Birche

As part of a direct commission from Puerto La Plata, the project included a diagnosis and a design proposal for the Plaza del Puerto and one of the main harbor streets. Conducted in collaboration with landscape architect Fernanda Santacá, the concept strategically promotes local biodiversity and ecological interactions through careful landscape planning. The project reinforces two key nodes – the roundabout and the harbor plaza – and serves as a linear link within the existing ecological matrix.
